Well this is a brand new thing to me and is something I've been meaning to start for a long while. Let me start by letting you know what I'm into in Second Life. I am an officer in the Veiled Fang Bloodlines Clan (Hybrid), I own a 1/3 homestead plot and have been there for a lonnnggg time, I do a lot of building, and I RP in several genre's (but not very consistently). I am also in a committed SL relationship and have been with her for about 2 years, sorry ladies ;)

Building in SL, for me, usually is to serve a specific purpose such as making something for a friend or for my own land. Past examples being Drow themed furniture for RP, Merfolk furniture/buildings/etc for our Mer area, and lately a Dragon themed Temple as a play with our Seawolf avi's. I think I'm pretty good at the aesthetics part but am constantly learning when it comes to the scripting part.

As far as RP I am most active in a Drow rp and do so with our house at Luth. I RP a shapeshifting Deep Dragon who mostly stays in Drow form and is allied to the House. Wynter, my GF, plays as the sexy Ambassador of the house. I also do SWRP (Star Wars RP) occasionally in SL and play as a freelance Mandalorian mercenary/assassin/bounty hunter. This is only an occasional thing for me though as there are a lot of assholes in SWRP lolol. Seriously, I play an Anzat Mandalorian, which is a force-sensitive race (which is not a force using thing like Jedi for those who don't know), and before I just never let on to people about my race I got alllll kinds of grief about that. I wouldn't recommend getting into SWRP unless you can take a lot of grief by ultra snobby rules lawyers that don't know as much as they think they do. Tis sad but it is what it is.

In RL I used to jump out of perfectly good airplanes and blow people up for the US Army. I went through Ranger School, was cross-trained in several allied airborne/commando type schools in Europe, and spent the vast majority of my time in the military overseas (about 3/4 in Europe, 1/6 in the Middle East, and 1/12 in Africa). I am college educated with degree's in Geography & Poltical Science also.

So...in this Blog I want to share with you my journeys and experiences in Second Life including cool places I visit, some of my shopping buys with my personal opinions of those items, and my experiences in building. I hope that IF anyone see's this it may help them work through problems of their own, find new places to explore for themselves, and/or help them make informed opinions about SL purchases. I hope you enjoy.  ;)
